Meet The Team

Jake Kendall, founder and chef of The Cornish Larder, in the kitchen

Jake

Founder

Chef turned entrepreneur, Jake is the brains behind the brand. What began as an idea in his parents kitchen back in 2018, soon turned in to a business supplying the majority of farmshops around the county and beyond!

His main focus now is on the day-to-day running of the business.

Abi

Co-Founder & Head of Sales

A creative at heart. Co-founded the company alongside Jake. Whilst he had the cooking skills, Abi had the marketing and customer service skills.

Since welcoming their daughter, Abi now focuses on sales.

Dave

Head of Production

Dave joined us back in 2023 as head of production. He now manages the kitchen, ensuring everything is cooked to the highest quality. Dave also manages all new recipe developments whilst also blessing the team with his *beautiful* renditions of any Celine Dion song.

Neve

Marketing

Neve originally joined us back 2022 as production assistant when there was just Jake and Abi in the team. Since then, her role has evolved and she now heads all the marketing for the business.

She may be small but she certainly keeps the boys in check here!

Tyler

Production Assistant & Stock Control

Tyler joined us in 2025 to help Dave run the production side of the business as well as organising all wholesale orders.

Since joining, those two have developed quite the bromance and will often be found in the kitchen harmonising to Magic FM.
