The Journey of our Chilli Jam
What started as a tiny seed, grown just 4.5 miles from where our Chilli Jam is made, has turned into a flavour that has become our best seller.
Our Chilli Jam is made using Cherry Bomb chillies, hand-grown by Cornish Chillies. Growing chillies takes a little patience. From planting the seeds and watching the first shoots appear, to nurturing the plants as they grow, flower, and eventually produce their first bright red chillies, there’s a lot of care that goes into every crop.

Back in our kitchen, we turn those freshly grown Cherry Bomb chillies into our sweet, sticky and perfectly fiery Chilli Jam.
Every batch starts with the chillies being carefully washed before they’re de-headed and added to the rest of our chilli jam ingredients. Everything is made in small batches, with our hands-on approach staying throughout every step of the process — from cooking and mixing to hand-filling and labelling every single jar.
And somehow, that little chilli grown just down the road has become the jar that so many of you keep coming back for.
We’ve seen it enjoyed in all sorts of ways, and honestly, that’s one of our favourite things about it.
It’s not just for cheeseboards (although it is very good with cheese!). Try a dollop in a tuna sandwich, stir some through a sauce or curry, spoon it over eggs, add it to a toastie, use it to glaze chicken, or simply serve it alongside your favourite cheese and crackers. It’s one of those jars that can sit in the fridge and somehow find its way into almost every meal.
From a tiny seed, to a hand-grown Cornish chilli, to our kitchen, and finally onto your plate. That’s quite a journey for one little chilli. And with it now being our best seller, we’d say it’s a journey that’s been well worth taking.
